Uganda Communications Commission (UCC)
ABS Consulting Group has maintained a strong partnership with the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), providing a range of services over the years. In 2017, we facilitated a self-evaluation process for the UCC Board of Directors, utilizing questionnaires and reviewing corporate documents, Board papers, and meeting minutes. Additionally, we developed report writing materials and conducted training sessions to enhance the Commission’s reporting capabilities. Our team played a pivotal role in the recruitment process, successfully filling 35 vacant positions.
In 2020, we conducted a comprehensive Board Performance and Assessment Evaluation, followed by selecting and recruiting a Director of Industry Affairs and Content Development in June 2022. Our ongoing collaboration continued in October 2022 with another board evaluation, reaffirming our commitment to supporting UCC in its governance and operational excellence. Most recently, in 2024, ABS Consulting was engaged again to conduct a thorough board evaluation, ensuring that UCC remains at the forefront of effective leadership and management practices.
